To our classmates, friends, and teachers of UDHS 1971,
I think I can say with a great deal of certainty that a good time was had by all at our 40th UDHS Reunion, golf outing, and UD high school tour. In the role as organizer, I must bring to your attention:

How about those extremely clever and witty emails encouraging attendance to the Reunion?! You can thank their talented creator, Chris Casanave Connolly (who also designed and formatted the evening’s program)! Truth be told, she created even more than those we emailed but she valued her day job too much to risk publishing them! Many, many thanks and kudos to Chris!
Speaking of programs, thank you to Rob Cragg for printing them for us. Thanks also to Brad Currie for printing name tags and to Scott Rovner for printing and mailing our “snail” mailings.
Many of us at the Reunion had “happy feet”, brought on by the music provided by our DJ and MC Rick Kircher. As a thank-you, he received a gift certificate for a car inspection and tire rotation donated by Cardinali car service, owned by Donna Dieter Cardinali and her husband. Barbara Reid Eckel’s donations of 2 bottles of home-made raw honey were also distributed as thank you gifts to Reunion helpers. Richard DeMaria’s generosity - in the form of a case of wine for his classmates to enjoy at the Reunion – was greatly appreciated by many of us wine drinkers. Another big thank-you goes to Corky Ferris – unable to attend the Reunion from California – who gave us $100 to defray some of the Reunion costs. Another huge contribution was Cindi Muhlrad Fabricant’s hand-made necklace (retail value of $195), which was won by Cathy Tascarella Nori in the raffle. (Chet Derbyshire won $445 in the 50/50 raffle.) Thank you to all who bought raffle tickets!
We had many others who helped behind the scenes with such things as contacting classmates, running errands, helping at registration table, organizing the golf outing, etc. Thank you: Ken Reese, Barb Christie, Donna Mallozzi Kircher, Laurie Diamond Katz, Shelley Levin Tanenbaum, Sally Scheid, and Donna Beyrer (hawking the 50/50/raffle tickets).
There are not enough ways for us to thank the Reunion Committee of Donna Senopoulos, Cindi Muhlrad Fabricant, and Bob Kaithern. You could not get a more generous, cooperative, talented, fun and funny, dedicated group than this one. We all owe them a great deal of gratitude.
2. Available for purchase: the UD71 Memories CD that Donna Senopoulos created and was given to attendees at the 35th Reunion! If you want to buy a copy of this CD ($5 or $7 depending on whether it is picked up or mailed). send me an email: mswolff@comcast.net. I have only 12 left. This CD is for a PC only, doesn't play on a MAC.
3. Go to the other features of this website to view pictures from the evening (thank you, Cindi), to send us your pictures to post, to sign the guest book, to view and/or update bios in Then and Now.
4. If you change your home or email address or your phone number, please contact us so we can update the database (which, incidentally, is used for reunion organizing and communications purposes ONLY).
5. The Class of 1971 purchased from the UD Educational Foundation an inscribed brick for $100 that will be installed in the UDHS entrance plaza. Go Cardinals!
